FIRST off... SORRY for not UPDATING you guys Yesterday... i wanted to but i was tired and very lazy... 'sides... no one reads this but J-Ho anyways HAHAHHAHA
ok so it was my 2nd day of work... with a SHAVED head. and maaaaaaaaannn was it cold that morning HAHAHHAA.
so i get to the Doors and i see a familiar face. it was Booshi-san. i guess she's gonna work in the mornings now... we exchanged a few words... but the older looking lady was getting pissed i think... so i left.... besides... i was a lil late HAHAHHA FUCK!!!
Sunday was like any other SUNDAY at TRENDY... it me in the morning shift... and then ellis at night shift.
anywho so i go in the office and pick up our cash bag... and everyone that saw me was SHOCKED to the MAX... everyone was like was STARING... a lot more than yesterday... the managers saw me for the first time. they didnt notice me yesterday because i didnt open the store... and i didnt go in the office... but today they were like... whoah! or so why did you decide to cut your hair?
my response is usually or always "im getting tired of fixing up my long hair" or "its been hot lately... but now its really cold... so i messed up hahahah"
so i go ahead and open up my store. then i clean up the place a bit and wait up to kill time. until ELLIS gets there...

a couple hours get there and ELLIS and i got bored... it was almost time for my lunch anyway... so i could careless...
a few minutes later... SAKI-chan TRIES to scare me. haha it didnt work. she tells me that she's visiting and that she's with her mommy at MITSUWA. she also asked about the hair. haha. she told me to say hi to her mom. and then she stayed with me until the start of break. she asked me if Taiyaki-san is working... i said no... because i dont think she'll be coming in until 3 or 4.
i take my BREAK. and saki-chan and i head outside. i let saki-chan go first while i hide behind a pillar to take a peek at her... i stuck my head out so that Taiyaki-san can see me. she had a BIG surprised expression on her face.
Taiyaki-san: "OMG!!! YOUR HAIR!!!" me: "yeh i decided to cut it" Taiyaki-san: "what happened? why?" me: "i dunno im just tired of my hair i guess" Taiyaki-san: "i see..." me: "yeh its cold" BOTH laugh hahah Taiyaki-san: "its ok it looks good" *thumbs up* me: "thank you.. but its weird hahah" Taiyaki-san: "no... you look cute" me: (omg.... what did she say?)... *stuttering* H-h-h-uh? Taiyaki-san: "YOU LOOK CUTE" me: *hella smiling & probably blushing & still stuttering* T-T-T-T-thank Y-Y-you... Taiyaki-san: *smiles*
by then i look at Saki-chan... she smiled too haha... i was scared... then Saki-chan leaves to go look for her mom.
me: "so i hear you work at a restaurant now." Taiyaki-san: "yeh..." me: "so are you quiting this job?" Taiyaki-san: "no. im not" me: (in my head WOOHOO!!!!!)
we talk some more and basically confirm everything that Booshi-san told me the other day. she's still gonna keep this job... but instead of saturdays AND sundays... it will only be SUNDAYS... because the restaurant needs her to work on saturdays.... FUCK!
i say my minni-good-bye because i still gotta eat adn head back... i then tell her that ill be back after my shift. i go inside and eat some food. saki-chan comes in and calls me a LONER haha... i think she thought i was being mean to her... but yeh i wasnt... ごめんなさいさきちゃん

i get off work and i head outside. Taiyaki-san: "hiii!" me: "hi!" Taiyaki-san: "so are you off now?" me: "yeh im off" Taiyaki-san: "OoooOooo that necklace is cute" me: "thank you" Taiyaki-san: "are you gonna leave now???" me: "no not yet... oh yeh can i get two taiyaki please?" Taiyaki-san: "yes" me: "ok well...ummm you can help the other customers first ill be back ill just put my stuff in the car" Taiyaki-san: "ok" *i come back and we talk for a lil bit because my taiyaki is still getting cooked...i wanted to ask her on a date or dinner or something hahah... but... i dont know if shes interested... so i played it safe... i think.
Taiyaki-san: "ok here you go" me: "thank you" Taiyaki-san: *hands me another bag* me: "umm... whats this?" Taiyaki-san: "this one is extra for you." me: "really!?!?!?" Taiyaki-san: "yes" me: "are you sure???????" Taiyaki-san: "yes its ok." me: "really?" Taiyaki-san: "Hmm-hm." me: "thank you!!!"
i was really happy and we said our good-byes and stuff... and i thanked her one last time for the extra taiyaki. and i headed to my car. some DOUChEBAG decided to park really close to my car... so i couldnt get it... i had to SQUEEZE myself in... it pissed me off... because the DOUCHE was still in his car... watching me SQUEEZE in my car... and he didnt even wave or anything saying that he was sorry... i got NOTHING... FUCKING DOUCHE BAG...
so i FINALLY get in my car... i look at the douche and i said FUCK IT... i dont give a shit anymore... i then thought about Taiyaki-san and how i wouldnt see her until next sunday... how sad. but for some ODD reason i couldnt stop smiling... i kept thinking about the extra taiyaki hahhahah....
and then... IT.. HAPPENED... O...M...G... i was sooo shocked... i didnt know what to do....
me: "FUCK!!!....I FORGOT TO PAY FOR THIS!"
without hitting the douche bag's car i opened my car door quickly adn wiggled out as fast as i could... and ran back to Taiyaki-san...
me: "umm... (insert Taiyaki-san's REAL NAME here)..." Taiyaki-san: "yes?" me: "OMG i forgot to PAY! here!" i handed my money Taiyaki-san: "No its ok..." *shakes her hands as if she dont want the money" Taiyaki-san: "its for you." me: "no, no... at least let me pay for the two that i wanted to buy." Taiyaki-san: "NO ITS OK...Daijoubu Daijoubu" me: "are you sure? really?" Taiyaki-san: "YES... its ok...just next time ok?" *she smiles, winks, & points out finger like it was a gun* me: "really... thank you"
i start to smile again... and start heading back to my car... i wasnt angry at the douche anymore... i just SQUEEZED in my car... closed my door... started my engine... FLICKED OFF THE DOUCHEBAG.... and drove on home.
this will be a short one...i think hahah because im really tired and i wanna sleep now.
i came by work all tired... but its all good. i saw the morning やきいも = YAKI IMO (sweet potatoe) workers today. they had someone new... its always this one lady... BUT her co-worker is NEW. so i was happy... because they always need help when they sell Yaki Imo or tayaki anyway haha.
i could care A LOT less... because i only care for the night crew... they are A LOT nicer :]
ON A SIDE NOTE: so i get inside and everyone was staring at me... looking all SURPRISED hahahaha btu i didnt care... (if you see me... you'll know) HAHHAAH
anywho later on... my co-worker Kaoru-chan gets her 30 min. break around 230ish to 300ish...
when she came back she tells me that Taiyaki-san was not outside. i was like dont worry... she's prolly running a lil late because i mean she IS coming from CARLSBAD. so i wasnt worried.
i was getting off at 5 and i was excited that there were only 2 hours left.
ELLIS, my other co-worker gets his lunch on his 30min. break... when he came back... he said and i QUOTE "DUDE, they got another COW outside. Taiyaki-san is not outside."
i was like WTF???
this time I WAS WORRIED. or just EXTREMELY curious in why she's not at work today... or YET.
THOUGHTS that were running through my head: ~maybe she left this job. ~maybe this other CHICK outside is the one that replaced her. ~FUCK!!! ~dammit Ellis said the NEW PM chick is a COW ~ELLIS said that there are two ugly chicks now... morning and night time ~SHITTTT!!!! ~maybe she just got some stuff to do ~maybe she got another job ~maybe she GOT fired. ~maybe.... maybe.... maybe... ~FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!
the last 30mins of work came up... it was 430... i tried NOT to think of the possibilities... i mean maybe ELLIS is just fucking around.
so then i GET OFF WORK... i get my stuff ready and head to the front of MITSUWA. i usually can see Taiyaki-san's CO-worker first... because Taiyaki-san is always behind this pillar thing... and he co-worker is by the window so yeh...
i SEE her co-worker... lets call her: 押しさん "Booshi" (means HAT in japanese). she always wears a hat.... sooo Booshi-san. anyway boshi-san talks to me a lil bit and asks me how i was doing... i talked to her.... then i gather up a few ounces of COURAGE and a sprinkle of ANGRY THOUGHTS to finally ask Booshi-san... the questioned i wanted answered. but she beat me in... and asked me a question.
Booshi-san: "WOW! new haircut? when did you get that?" ME: "just recently" Booshi-san: "OoOooooo KAWAII" ME: "thank you......umm... where's (insert Taiyaki-san's REAL NAME here) today?" Booshi-san: "oooohhh you know (insert Taiyaki-san's REAL NAME here)??? i mean her name?" ME: "yes. where is she now?" Booshi-san: "oh well yeh (insert Taiyaki-san's REAL NAME here) she works at a restaurant now too...so she's really busy" ME: ((in my head WTF??? REALLY??????? CRAPPPPP!!!)) "i see... so in oceanside?" Booshi-san: "no in CARLSBAD" ME: "hmm... well can i get 3 taiyaki please" Booshi-san: "yes sure here... yeh... she might come tomorrow though." ME: "i see...well ok then...have a great night" Booshi-san: "yes you too."
AND THAT IS IT. she wasnt at work. she works at ANOTHER PLACE. she STILL has THIS job... but now she has TWO JOBS... so balancing time is a MUST... in a way... for BOTH of us.
so i guess i didnt calculate her getting another job... SUCKS BALLS.
in a way its kind of exciting... because now i can speed up my pace a lil bit... maybe ill ask her out to eat sometime. who knows.
but it all depends if she comes in to work.... TOMORROW.
I WAS very excited & scared to go to work today... i was smiling and feelin' all giddy and shit inside hahaha GAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! ITS RAINING!!! >:o i played some J-Music on the way to work to calm me down a bit... Taiyaki-san wasnt there yet. like i said before she closes her shop... and i open mine.

anyway when i opened up the store it got pretty busy.
i endured all of this until it was time for my lunch. i didnt know how to approach Taiyaki-san... so i decided to eat first and maybe think of something "clever" to say hahah.
i then see another weekend co-worker... he's only there on the weekends because that when Mitsuwa is very busy...
he sells water filter/purifiers... and no joke... THEIR water is the BOMB. it taste waaaay better that evian or boss or fiji water. soooo good. come by a weekend and taste it. oh yeh... i forgot to get his name... so ill refer to him as "Mizu-san" mizu cause he sells water... and mizu is water in japanese. HAHHAHA
anyway he invited me to sit with him since we're taking our break anyway... i agreed. we then talked about how our sales our doing, then we get to the topic: girls. hahahha
he looked older than me... but apparently he's only 20. hahahha he asked me if i had a girl friend cause he says i look like i'd have one already.... it was clearly a compliment.. i said no. and then we talked about inter-racial relationships... and how there arent enough asian women for asian guys because (NO OFFENSE i love you all) the WHITE guys or Black guys took them away hahaha.
Mizu-san then asked me if i ever dated white women before. and i said yes. and he couldnt believe it. cause he thinks its really hard to get a girlfriend... but i said its possible... and when i said "its possible" a couple... 1 asian male and 1 "american" woman walked in the restaurant hahahhahaha. talk about great timing.
the next 10 minutes or so revolved around us pointing out which certain girl is cute or whatever.
suddenly SHE walks in... TAIYAKI-SAN. of course she didnt notice me :'[ she just walked right beside us and got a couple water cups for her co-workers. i wanted to say hi to her or just have her smile at me or vice-versa... but she didnt see me... i was literally 3 inches away from her. by then my MORAL went from 60... to 5. hahah mizu-san and i are no gonna help each other out... someway... hahah but of course i didnt tell him about Taiyaki-san maybe ill tell him next time.
Mizu-san then asked me if i think she's cute. i then responded "KAWAII!" which is cute, pretty, adorable in japanese. and he agreed with me and we talked about how she's really nice to the customers always smiling and what not.
at the end of our meal... i see two asian girls and i pointed them out to Mizu-san. he then went looking for them around the store hahaha i told him ill catch up later and i went outside to but some taiyaki from Taiyaki-san.
i bought 4 red bean and 4 custard. she just smiled at me... WOW. that's all i needed. i was ready for another 3 hours of work. i wanted to keep talking to her but she was in the middle of a convo :'[ and i was late coming back from lunch... how gay...

i went outside and maybe try to get her name THIS time... but it was BUSY. there were a lot of people waiting for taiyaki. so i decided to leave... as soon as i walk out of the door she says "Heeeey... are you done?" OMG. she talked to me... something OTHER than... "no taiyaki today?" or "bye see you next weekend"
so i decided to stay a lil bit. i ordered 2 tayaiki and i waited. i told her to take care of the other customers first because i can wait. BESIDES... i wanted to talk to her... even if its just small talk here and there... i mean... i wont be able to see her until next weekend anyway.
we talked for a bit and she asked me if i live close by. i just laughed and told her no i live in Poway. "wow in POWAY? that's on the 15... up north." O...M...G... she knew where POWAY was... i mean most people dont even know where it is. hahah i was very surprised. she then told me she lives in carls bad. and I THOUGHT i lived far... dang. hahah i gave her 2 bucks for the taiyaki and waited for it... she then joke around like saying thank you for the money... like she was gonna keep it and not gimme my food hahah i thought it was funny :]
she then told me she goes to school up in Mira Costa. so she's 22 and she's in college. like me :] hahah we talked about our stores and she asked me how i like work life at Trendy. it was then getting busy and she can barely talk... i told her im going to just put my stuff away and ill come back to pick up my desserts after. she says ok.
i then come back and she meets me halfway and hands me my bag with taiyaki in it. she smiles and says thank you. i then open my bag...and she started to walk away....
i ran back to her little shop and i thanked her for meeting me half way... by this time i was shaking.... i asked for her name.... she then told me it. and i told her mine. i put out my hand to shake hers... and mine was already shaking.... i was sooo nervous... but we shook hands and smiled. she then joked around saying "ahhh so you're rich... like wealthy..." and laughed. i laughed with her and said "no... i mean c'mon we work at mitsuwa" HAHHAHAHHA i then said good-bye and i said "see you next week" :]
MISSION 1 her name... SUCCESSFUL.... costs? = 10 taiyaki and a left nut.
but it was worth it hands down... IT WAS FUCKING WORTH IT!!!!
